Cementing / Cement Plugs and Darts
Drill Pipe Wiper Dart
Features

• Robust Seal Ring: An aluminum nose with a seal ring provides a reliable bidirectional seal, capable of withstanding high differential pressures with a maximum bump pressure of 7,000 psi and a maximum back pressure of 5,000 psi.

• Angled, aluminum nose prevents the dart from hanging up in the drillpipe or tubing string;

• Durable Fins: Constructed from peroxide-cured HNBR as standard, the fins deliver exceptional abrasion resistance and superior wiping performance

• PDC Drillable

Options

• Professional engineering support team

• Size range 4 1/2 " - 6 5/8"

Quotation

The Drill Pipe Wiper Dart (DPWD) is engineered for use with Newland's inner-string stab-in float equipment to cement large-diameter casing strings efficiently. Pumped behind the cement, the DPWD wipes the interior of drill pipe or tubing strings, creating a reliable mechanical barrier between cement and spacer fluids or mud, while preventing cement contamination. Paired with Newland's inner-string float equipment, the DPWD significantly reduces displacement time by allowing cement to be pumped until it reaches the surface. This minimizes excess cement at the seabed and substantially shortens drillout times.
